There are community resources available for those dealing with landlord, rental property or apartment complex concerns.
The phone number for the city of Jacksonville's code enforcement division is 904-255-7000. Its website is https://www.coj.net/departments/neighborhoods/municipal-code-compliance.
An attorney is also a good option. If you can’t afford one, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid has information on its website specific to landlord-tenant disputes. The agency can be reached at 904-356-8371.
