The News4JAX I-TEAM regularly digs into local issues regarding housing, including code enforcement, landlord complaints and housing market concerns.

We also have an ongoing series on Renters' Rights. Here are some of our previous stories with important information for all renters:

There are community resources available for those dealing with landlord, rental property or apartment complex concerns.

The phone number for the city of Jacksonville's code enforcement division is 904-255-7000. Its website is https://www.coj.net/departments/neighborhoods/municipal-code-compliance.

An attorney is also a good option. If you can’t afford one, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid has information on its website specific to landlord-tenant disputes. The agency can be reached at 904-356-8371.

If you think the issues you're dealing with are newsworthy, you can click here to submit a news tip for the I-TEAM. Please make sure to include photos/video and documentation on how you have already tried to resolve the issue.

We can not get to every request of this type. If your story gets assigned to a reporter someone will contact you.
